After writing a kind of negative post, I feel like I should write down some things I am thankful for!
*I am thankful everyday for my 3 sweet dogs, Cosmo, Finn, and Newt. They each hold a special place in my heart and truly know how to make me feel better when I am down. They are my world.
*I'm thankful for my job in veterinary medicine and how the knowledge I have learned there has helped me in my everyday life in providing better care to my 3 doggies.
*I'm thankful for weather that is above 45 degrees!
*I'm thankful for wonderful friends who are reliable and there through the thick and thin. I have always been blessed with an amazing friend and support group and I can't imagine going through life without these special humans.
*I'm thankful for skype and the ability to talk with the ones I love despite being miles and miles apart.

Wow, it's been awhile. Like a LONGGGG while.
So... I am thankful for a lot. Especially since it was just Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for:
-My amazing boyfriend, John Cozzens. He is so sweet to me
-My Savior and the atonement. I feel so grateful to know that he loves me enough to have suffered so much for me!
-Missionaries. I'm thankful for Natalie and the inspiring letters she sends. She always seems to say the exact thing I need to hear. Missionaries are definitely inspired and given revelation!
-The opportunity to get an education
-My piano. I love music and that it is a great destresser. It helps me escape from my problems and just relax for awhile.
-General Conference and how we are able to go back because of technology and re-read what our prophets and apostles have counseled us to do.

I'm not very consistent with this, but today I am feeling extra thankful. I've had some important decisons to make recently. I've had to choose between my will and the Lords. Whenever that happens, which happens often in our mortal lives, it requires a lot of faith. It took me a few days to actually give in the the Lords will. But today I finally had the confidence and courage to follow his plan. I realized he does know what is best. He sees the bigger picture. He doesn't only see the beginning, but also the end. He knows us better than we know ourselves and he knows our needs. I know he gave me the strength to have the faith I needed to go through with this tough decision. I have never felt so much at peace as I do now. That is how I know I did the right thing. :)
I am thankful for:
-Personal Revelation and the gift of the Holy Ghost. It is real and it is stronger than we realize.
-My mother. It is mothers day and I am thankful for her love and constant forgiveness to me even when I make the same mistakes over and over again.
-Sunday and the amazing lesson I learned in church today. It was a spiritual day where I learned about how to overcome temptations.
-Good friends who are willing to listen to my problems over and over and over again. And then who give me advice over and over again. Many times it is advice that I already know...
-Kayla and Logan. They are just amazing friends
-Jesus Christ and his love for all his childern
-Prayer and how God hears and answers us. I know recently he has answered my prayers multiple times. He has given me confidence and strength that I didn't know I had.
-Dating. It's fun. But also it is for a purpose. But even thought it sucks sometimes, I a thankful for it :)

I'm thankful for a lot. I've had a few rough days recently, but I think it's awesome when you are able to look past the bad and see the good in your hard days. You can find blessings in every day, even the gloomiest ones. And when I look at the glass half full and find those blessings on those hard days, I seem to feel even more grateful for them!
Today I am thankful for:
-My job and the awesome people I work with. I LOVE my co-workers. How much you enjoy your job relies SO much on the people you are working with. Luckily I love pretty much everyone I work with.
-Friends who PATIENTLY talk logical reasoning to me when I am being irrational. Which happens occasionally.
-Friends who listen
-A family who loves me and has my best interest in mind
-My love of music
-Sweater Weather
-The feeling you get when you are looking forward to something exciting!!! :)
-Tender mercies where God lets you know he is there, and listening, and is willing to help you no matter how silly or small your problems are. He loves us. Nuff' said!

It's been awhile since I've blogged, so here we go...
I have been very sick the last 2 days! But despite the hard times I have still seen Gods blesssings in my life
-The priesthood. I am thankful that when I am sick I have a Father who can give me a blessing at any time, even at such short notice.
-My own strength. I know that God blesses me to be strong in my times of need. I prayed to him a lot today to help me get through my illness and I prevailed. I know that he gave me the strength to carry on.
-Tender Mercies. I had a test I was supposed to take, and since I was sick I didn't know when i was going to take it. Turns out it is open another day! Tender mercies of the Lord helping me. Everything falls into place when we put the Lord first in our lives. He blesses us even at times when I feel I don't deserve it. I feel very blessed
-An awesome family. They were all so worried about me. Jen, Mom and Dad were concerned and willing to help me. Mom is in Georgia and I know is worrying about me. I am blessed to have caring parents and siblings!

Today I was given many blessings and saw Gods hands in my life many times. :)
I am thankful for:
*Enduring to the End
*School and the opportunity I have to get an education
*A job that I love and that gives me the money to do the things I need to do
*A supportive family and friends
*Fall and how beautiful it is
*Prayer. I know God hears and answers our prayers
*A merciful God who even though we aren't perfect, and may not even at times deserve blessings, he gives them to us anyways and is always there
*The Holy Ghost which can give us comfort and the gift of knowledge in our time of need
*Singing and Music
*Tender Mercies. God cares even about the little things that may not seem like a big deal but still matter to us. He wants us to be happy and successful. He is rooting for us 100 percent of the way!
*The faith I have built over the years and the experiences I have had in my life which have got me to where I am today.
*Positive attitudes and positive people and influences
*Jesus Christ, my brother

Today was an AMAZING day and I am feeling extra grateful! :) I am grateful for:
*The Institute and the spirit it brings
*Choir and all the friendships it has given me
*Running
*A healthy body
*laughing so hard that you make no sound :D
*Burnt Almond Ice cream with brownie bits on top!!!
*Scary movie nights with the best friend :)
*Spiritual music
*My car (and a working door handle)
*the simple things in life that are so easy to take for granted
*Spiritual promptings (many of which go unnoticed)
